We want to make sure your Fat Hippo merch makes it to you safe and sound so here’s the lowdown on how we handle shipping and delivery...

How will my order be sent to me?

All orders are sent out via Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery 2-3 working days.

When will my order be sent to me?

We have one dispatch day each week, every Tuesday, when our lovely postie collects all orders.

Last orders each week must be placed by midday on Monday to qualify for Tuesday. Miss the cut-off? No worries – it’ll head out with the next dispatch the week after.

When will my order reach me?

Once we’ve got your order, we’ll give it the royal treatment and package it up with care. After we’ve handed your parcel over to Royal Mail, delivery times are in their capable hands. Most 2nd Class parcels arrive quickly, but since it’s their timeline, we can’t guarantee exact dates (you know, festive postal chaos and all that!).

What about Christmas orders?

Don’t let the big man beat you to it! Make sure you get your orders in by Monday 16th December before midday – for the final dispatch before Christmas is Tuesday 17th December. Don’t miss out!

Do you offer returns and exchanges?

Thank you for shopping at the Fat Hippo Merch Store!
 
We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.
 
Eligibility for Refunds & Exchanges
  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.
  • If the item in question was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at (info@fathippo.co.uk) and send your item to:

Exempt Goods
The following are exempt from refunds:
  • Gift cards
Partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.
 
Late or missing refunds
  • If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@fathippo.co.uk
Shipping
  • Please send the product back to us at the following Address Fat Hippo HQ, Unit 18 Quay Level, St Peter's Wharf, Newcastle upon Tyne. NE6 1TZ
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and to be covered by you.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
  • Please note, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, so advise you add tracking at the time of sending.

* Please note these locations are smaller Fat Hippo kiosks within another host venue. To make a booking within the dining area of one of these sites, please click the location above and your reservation will be made through the host venue’s system. These venues are solely responsible for all bookings at these locations so please contact them directly with any queries.
