If you head down to your nearest Hippo between 5pm and 6pm on a weekday, you're in for a TREAT. Forget everything you thought you knew about Happy Hour though 'cos you're about to meet our HIPPO HOUR - the best kind of evening offer!
During this exclusive hour, you can get 2 courses for £16.90 and 3 courses for £19.90 from a menu of selected items! A great deal AMIRITE?

When the STARTERS rival the mains...
It's no secret that we know how to do burgers. But before burgers comes STARTERS! And guess what… we know how to do them too.
Available on our Hippo Hour menu, we have our FRICKLES. You can't beat our fried crinkle cut pickles, served with a classic sour cream and our fiery Hellacious Hippo Hot sauce! Don't knock 'em 'til you've tried them though... once you start, you just can't stop.
We've also got our TRASH BROWNS available. Picture a portion of deep fried fluffy tater tots swimming in a rich gooey liquid cheese and topped with crispy Cajun onion strings. Feeling extra cheeky? Level up with added bacon bits. Safe to say these bad boys will live rent free in your head.

To pickle or not to pickle? That is the question. First in the line up, we have our AMERICAN. With its double beef patty layered with American cheese, pickles, ketchup and Amercan mustard, this classic will never let you down.
Feeling a bit more adventurous? Time to get WILD like BILL! We're talking double beef patty loaded with American cheese, smoked bacon, waffle fries, thick BBQ sauce, creamy ranch and jalapeños for this Hippo Hour menu addition.
Or is SWISS TONY more your vibe? This bad boy is a double beef patty smothered with Swiss cheese, smoked bacon, juicy mushrooms, crispy tobacco onions and rich truffle mayo! A solid Hippo Hour choice.

In the mood for chicken tonight? Meet the THREE brined, double fried, boneless, buttermilk chicken burgers available on our Hippo Hour menu. As always, these are served in a toasted demi brioche with free Hippo dusted hand cuts!
You don't need a sore head to try our HANGOVER III - although it has been known to sort them right out with its juicy buttermilk chicken layered with American cheese, smoked bacon, crunchy lettuce, pickles, BBQ sauce and creamy ranch. A firm Hippo Hour favourite!

Prefer a plant based patty? No worries, check out the line up of vegan burgers we have on our Hippo Hour menu. All of our vegan burgers are served in a tasty toasted vegan brioche and as standard, they come with free Hippo dusted hand cuts!
First up for our plant based pals, we have FIVE LIES. This single plant based patty is layered with vegan cheese, tangy pickles, crispy cajun onion strings topped with ketchup and American mustard. A true vegan classic.
Or our Hippo Hour menu could be the perfect opportunity to try our HARLEM FAKE. This firm vegan favourite is a southern fried plant based piece, served up with vegan cheese, pink onions, sriracha mayo, crunchy lettuce and chipotle 'slaw!

Don't forget that you can still take your Hippo Hour meal to the next level with our amazing range of upgrades! If you're feeling extra cheeky, we always recommend adding an extra PATTY or PIECE to your burger. Of course, making your hand cut chips or fries DIRTY as a must - you don't want to miss out on lashings of our signature Fat Hippo sauce and crispy bacon bits (available vegan too for our plant based pals)! Our child friendly restaurants are a firm favourite with little ones too! Our kids menu is great value and available in our restaurants so your little Herd can eat like hungry hippos! There's options to build your own burger, letting your kids choose exactly what patty, toppings and sauces they would like in their stack before picking from our delicious range of sides and drinks. Not fancying a burger? It's all good, they can go for our chicken fingers instead! There's something for all the family!
Gluten free or dairy free?
As you know, we try our best to cater for everybody at Fat Hippo. If you're looking for gluten free burgers or dairy free burgers, we've got you! Just head to our menu to see the allergen information for each menu item. It will also explain exactly which items are gluten free and dairy free as standard or can be made gluten free or dairy free on request with a few swaps and substitutes so everyone can enjoy their Fat Hippo visit.
